Our facilities
Our Wairau Road storage centre is the first purpose built storage centre in New Zealand located right on the corner of the Wairau Road Business Park motorway off-ramp on the North Shore in Auckland.
Entrance via Curry's Lane.
The facility stands six levels high and has the latest security and user facilities. This centre is popular with both business and personal users. We also cater to the smaller storer with locker type units and also for the larger storer with mini warehouse type units.
Climate controlled Wine Cellars are available from 24 case capacity to hundreds.
To complement our offering an onsite box shop situated within the office is available for all your packing and storage requirements.
The covered loading area has a drive up loading bay right next to the lift lobby, making access super easy and ensuring your storage contents remain protected from the environment!
Access is no issue with 24 hours, 7 days a week availability by PIN code. Also if you need to, a conference room is available to book and a Wifi hotspot area is available for that quick download on the run!

Strongly recommend that all existing customers regularly check their monthly rental rates because Kennards only adjusts rental prices when they increase. If rental prices decrease, the rent remains unchanged. After renting a unit for several years, I found that the monthly rent for a unit with same size for new customers had dropped to $150+, while I was still paying $190+. When I requested to apply the latest rental rate, I was asked to move to another unit of the same size just a few meters away (perhaps they just wanted me to get a few hours of exercise to keep healthy).

Our value based pricing are dynamic with a demand and supply element so unit prices will vary depending on when a customer moves in, they only apply to available vacant units that are generally limited in supply. Just as we do not increase existing customers when prices increase, they also not change if they decreases as well. Sian SStaff here are really friendly and helpful. They answer every question and even some I didn’t think of asking. The storage areas are incredibly clean and renting a unit was easy and straightforward. Seems very secure.
