Kennards Self Storage has recently built hundreds of new Wine Cellars in two Auckland locations. Responding to high demand the company has expanded the existing Wine Cellar facility in Mt Eden, while also adding a brand new Wine Cellar facility in the Wairau Valley storage centre. 

The Wine Cellars are climate controlled to enable collectors to age their wine in optimum conditions. With so many awesome wine makers in New Zealand it is worth collecting a few nice drops for a future occasion. 



The wine storer enthusiasts can rent their own private lock-up cellar, with their own lock and own key. The cellars are competely discreet. No one else has access to another persons cellar and cannot even view the contents. The ultimate private cellar. 

Temperatures are kept stable at about 17ºC with humidity in the mid 60% range. These are the optimum conditions for cellaring great wine. So while the temperature rises in the Auckland summer, the wine will be kept in stable conditions. 

The Kennards Wine Storage facility in Wairau Valley is the only one in the north shore of Auckland. 

The cellars range in capacity from 12 cases for small collections of premium wine, to hundreds of cases. 

While Wine Storage is a long term venture, a Wine Cellar is rented on a month to month basis. No long term commitment, but stay as long as you like.
