Little Sprouts is a Wellington NZ based registered charitable trust that gives away free comprehensive and life changing packs of baby items for babies in real need across the Wellington Region.
Each pack includes: safe and warm sleeping items, cotton and wool baby clothes, re-usable and disposable nappies/wipes, a sling, baby books, toys and toiletries, other health and safety items (i.e. a digital thermometer, socket covers, smoke alarms), plus more.
The packs are given away via wonderful organisations like Barnardos, the Women’s Refuge, Salvation Army, Wesley Community Action, the Family Start Program and Refugee Services, run by the Red Cross.
This quarter Little Sprouts will be giving away about $30,000 worth of baby items, as well as smaller packs and one-off gifts like cots, change tables, baths etc.
