The construction of Auckland’s largest dedicated wine cellaring facility has commenced in Kennards Self Storage Mt Eden centre. This wine facility will be located in the existing basement of the Kennards building, which will provide optimal thermal conditions.
The Wine Storage Facility will initially have 63 private lock-up cellars in a variety of sizes. The facility will grow with demand to ultimately have 300 cellars.
The Kennards facility is again being built in response to our market analysis which identified a chronic lack of wine cellaring options in Auckland.
Aucklanders will now be able to cellar their wine in suitable climate controlled conditions. They will also enjoy the privacy and peace of mind of their own cellar with their own lock and key. The micro cellars accommodate 12 cases and sizes range up to maxi cases for hundreds of cases.
The Mt Eden location is ideal to serve CBD and CBD fringe suburbs which are short of space in their home or work.
